1. Betting selections are indicated on the online betting slip next to respective odds.

2. It is possible to make single and/or multiple bets. A multiple bet is defined as individual bets which combine two or more selections in a single wager: if one selection loses the whole bet is lost. In the case of an individual bet, the overall payout for a win (including the original stake) is equal to the stake multiplied by its decimal odds. In the case of a multiple bet, it is equal to the stake multiplied by the product of the various decimal odds.

3. Unless otherwise stipulated:
3.1 for European ice hockey (excluding CHL, NHL and OHL), football and handball events odds are based on the result after regular time which includes time added by match officials for stoppages (injury time), but not scheduled extra time or penalty shoot-outs etc. The same counts for rugby events where the draw option is offered;
3.2 for CHL, NHL, OHL, basketball, American football and baseball, odds are based on the result after regular time and any period of overtime and extra innings played.

4. In the event of a change of playing surface or a change from indoor court to outdoor court or vice versa all bets will stand. In the event of a change of venue all bets will stand unless the change of location implies a change of the condition whether the participant will play on opposing side's or neutral ground; in this case the event is deemed void.

5. The 'Joker' represents any participant not explicitly mentioned in the betting offer. In the case of 'Head-to-Head' bets, the 'Joker' means any other participant.

6. In the event of a participant withdrawing after the start of an event in all sports with the exception of tennis, all related stakes will be lost. In the event of a participant withdrawing after the start of a tennis match, the respective bets will be deemed void if at the time of suspension they are still not decided as winning or losing (i.e. First Set and First Set Exacta will be settled if the first set has ended). If a participant withdraws before the start of the event (including official trials) the respective bets are deemed void unless otherwise stipulated. Stakes on bets that forecast the winner of a golf tournament are refunded if the player does not tee off. Stakes on bets that forecast the winner of a championship, tournament or ante-post race for all other sports are lost if the entrant cannot participate or finish.

7. Results valid for determining the outcome of any bet are those established by the respective sports federation or other competent body governing the event. In the absence of such ruling, results shall be determined by publications of the National Press Agency of the country where the event takes place. In Head-to-Head betting both entrants must start the event for bets to stand. If one or both entrants do not start the event or neither entrant gets a result, all bets are void in all sports with the exception of Motor Sports. In Motor Sports if one driver/rider fails to complete the race , the other driver/rider will be declared the winner. In the event of neither driver/rider finishing, the number of laps/stages completed will determine settlement. If both drivers/riders complete the same number of laps/stages, all bets are void.

8. Results are always as recognised on the field/track. Any results on paper deriving from disciplinary action, sports or ordinary legal actions are not taken into account. If news leak out that call the integrity of an individual event into question, Company reserves the right to freeze winnings and void bets retrospectively in the event that the information proves correct.

9. Winnings will be credited to Customer's account following confirmation of the final result. Settlement will be at the price prevailing at the time the bet was placed and confirmed (regardless of any fluctuation that took place before/after the bet was placed).

10. Liability & Indemnity:

10.1 Company shall in no way and under no circumstances be liable for any damages or losses resulting from, but not limited to:

10.1.1 The cancellation of any event for any reason;

10.1.2 Any errors or omissions in the website content;

10.1.3 Misuse of the website content or the inability of any person to use its sports services;

10.1.4 Unauthorised use or misuse of customer's username or password;

10.1.5 Access delays, access interruptions, data non-delivery or data mis-delivery;

10.1.6 Any act of God, Force Majeure or other circumstance(s) beyond its control.

10.2 Despite every effort to ensure complete accuracy, Company cannot be held responsible for any errors in the information on the website including, without limitation, the provision of odds, entrants, results and start times. In the event of incorrect odds being quoted, Company reserves the right to correct the error and void any affected bets. In such cases Company will endeavour to notify the account holder by writing to their registered e-mail address prior to the event.

11. If a 'Dead-Heat' is declared on any event, the stake is proportioned accordingly.

12. The following provisions apply to suspended or postponed events:

12.1 American Football: Bets are void unless the game is rearranged or resumed and completed within the same calendar 'American Football Week' (Monday - Sunday inclusive, PST);

12.2 Baseball: Bets on Run Line and Total Runs are void unless the game goes to 9 innings (8 1/2 if the home team is ahead). Bets on all other markets are void unless the game is resumed and completed on the same day or at least 5 innings of play (4 1/2 if the home team is ahead) have been completed (winners and losers for betting purposes are then determined by the score after the last full inning);

12.3 Basketball: Bets are void unless the game is rearranged or resumed and completed on the same day;

12.4 Boxing: Bets are void unless the event is rearranged or resumed and completed within 14 days;

12.5 Cricket: Bets will stand on the official result provided at least one ball has been bowled. In the event of a test match which is tied as at the time of suspension or postponement, the Dead Heat rule set out in paragraph 11 above will apply and stakes on a draw will be lost.

12.6 Darts: In the event of a match starting but not being completed the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner;

12.7 Handball: Bets are void unless the game is rearranged or resumed and completed within 2 days;

12.8 Ice Hockey: Bets are void unless the game is rearranged or resumed and completed on the same day;

12.9 Motor Sports: Bets are void unless the event is rearranged or resumed and completed within 3 days;

12.10 Rugby: Bets are void unless the game is rearranged or resumed and completed within the same calendar 'Rugby Week' (Monday - Sunday inclusive (UK Time);

12.11 Football: Bets are void unless the game is resumed and completed within 2 days or at least 80 minutes of play have been completed (winners and losers for betting purposes are then determined by the score at the time of suspension);

12.12 Snooker: In the event of a match starting but not being completed the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner;

12.13 Tennis: Bets are void unless the game is rearranged or resumed and completed within 3 days;

12.14 Winter Sports (excluding Ice Hockey) : Bets are void unless the event is rearranged or resumed and completed within 3 days.

12.15 Bets which are at the time of suspension already decided as winning or losing (e.g. half time, periods, first team to score, first set) shall be settled regardless of the time of suspension or resumption.

12.16 Where a horse is withdrawn before coming under starter's orders, or is officially deemed by the starter to have taken no part in the race, stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with 'Tattersalls' Rule 4'.

13. Bet Acceptance

13.1 Bets are accepted on all events where PartyBets offers a betting opportunity. A bet shall only be deemed valid if after clicking on the 'Place Bet' icon, the customer is returned a Bet Receipt with confirmation of the bet being placed. Customers are unable to cancel or change a bet once the bet has been placed and the acceptance confirmed.

13.2 Bets are normally accepted at ‘Show Price’ for named and numbered selections in races where there are three or more runners. All bets taken at Show Price will be settled at the price taken at the time a bet has been validated (subject to rule 14.5 below).

13.3 Bets are accepted at Starting Price in all races where the Starting Price (“SP”) bet option is available. Bets accepted will be settled in accordance with the official returned Starting Price (subject to rule 14.5 below).

13.4 PartyBets may offer its own unique Show Price up until the start of a race. As a result PartyBets may not necessarily offer prices in line with racecourse board prices, as transmitted by industry services such as SIS. Any bet struck on the PartyBets site will stand at the Show Price taken, unless the bet is accepted at Starting Price.

13.5 Bets are accepted for Forecasts and Tricasts in all races where the Forecast and Tricast option is available.

13.6 Any bets accepted on ‘special’ markets will be accepted and settled in accordance with the rules applicable to the particular special market. Such rules together with any relevant promotional offers will be updated on the PartyBets website from time to time.

13.7 Some races may contain reserve horses for which prices may or may not be offered. The finishing positions of any such reserve horses will stand for settlement purposes whether or not prices were offered.

13.8 PartyBets reserves the right to refuse any bet or part of a bet without giving a reason at any time. In addition PartyBets reserves the right to close a customer's account and refund the balance of their account without further explanation. In this event outstanding bets will be honoured.

14. Bet Settlement

14.1 Bets on horseracing are governed by Tattersalls' Rules of Betting. Tattersalls' Rules or an official announcement of the Tattersalls' Committee will govern the settlement of bets should a situation arise which is not specifically covered by these rules.

14.2 Bets are settled on the official result as declared immediately following the race “WEIGH-IN”. Where a result is subsequently amended after the official “WEIGH-IN”, for example as a result of a successful appeal, the amendment will be ignored for settlement purposes.

14.3 All winning bets will be settled at the Show Price or Starting Price shown on the PartyBets website at the time the bet was accepted. The place element of each-way bets at Show Price shall be settled in accordance with the place betting terms determined by the actual number of starters and not by the number of declared runners when the Show Price is requested. This means the place terms are variable: place terms pertaining when the bet is accepted may not be the place terms at the time the bet is settled. Each-way bets at Starting Price shall always be settled in accordance with the place terms determined by the actual number of starters.

Settlement of the place part of each-way bets is computed according to the following industry-accepted table:

Runners Handicap races Non-handicap races
2-4 Win Only Win Only
5-7 1/4 Odds 1st 2nd 1/4 Odds 1st 2nd
8-11 1/5 Odds 1st 2nd 3rd 1/5 Odds 1st 2nd 3rd
12-15 1/4 Odds 1st 2nd 3rd 1/5 Odds 1st 2nd 3rd
16+ 1/4 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 1/5 Odds 1st 2nd 3rd

14.4 Subject to rule 20.2 governing Ante-post bets below, all bets on horses that are withdrawn before the start of a race shall be deemed void and full stake money will be refunded.

14.5 Where a horse is declared to run but is then withdrawn before a race starts, bets placed before the non-runner is announced on any of the remaining runners which do start the race may be subject to a “Rule 4” deduction. The relevant deduction is computed according to the following industry-accepted table:

Price at time of withdrawal Amount deducted from winnings in %
1.30 or shorter75%
1.31 to 1.4070%
1.41 to 1.5365%
1.54 to 1.6260%
1.63 to 1.8055%
1.81 to 1.9550%
1.96 to 2.2045%
2.21 to 2.5040%
2.51 to 2.7535%
2.76 to 3.2530%
3.26 to 4.0025%
4.01 to 5.0020%
5.01 to 6.5015%
6.51 to 10.0010%
10.01 to 15.005%
15.01 or higherNo deductions

14.6 Any “Rule 4” deduction is applied at the price when the bet on that selection was accepted, not at the price of the selection at the time of the withdrawn runner. This may result in the PartyBets “Rule 4” deduction being different from the official industry “Rule 4”.

14.7 A “Rule 4” deduction may be applied for all horses that are withdrawn. A “Rule 4” deduction may apply to Starting Price bets where PartyBets deems it fair and necessary to do so.

14.8 Bets settled on races outside the UK and Ireland where no Show Price is taken will be settled in accordance with the dividend declared by the local settlement service which forms a proxy for the Starting Price. Where no such dividend is declared, PartyBets will endeavour to settle the bet at the most appropriate price.

14.9 In the event of an incorrect price erroneously being displayed on the PartyBets website, bets will be settled at the correct price at the time the bet was accepted or at SP, which ever is greater. PartyBets reserves the right to make the final decision on all such incorrect prices. Under such circumstances, the client will be notified of the situation at the earliest practicable opportunity. Queries regarding errors must be raised within 14 days of settlement of the bet, otherwise such bet shall be deemed settled.

14.10 In the event of the result of any race being declared as a Dead Heat, the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the Dead Heat. The full price is then paid to the divided stake, with the remainder of the money lost.

14.11 Multiple bets with win-only elements shall be settled at full accumulative odds. Multiple bets with each-way elements are settled win-to-win, place-to-place, and for the place part of any such bets, at the place price pertaining at the time of acceptance.

15. Abandonments, Walkovers and Void Races

15.1 Bets on races that are part of an abandoned meeting will be deemed void and stakes will be refunded.

15.2 In the event of a walkover or void race, bets will be deemed void and stakes will be refunded.

16. Forecasts

16.1 Forecast bets will be settled in accordance with the officially declared Computer Straight Forecast (“CSF”) dividend. Where no such dividend is declared, PartyBets will be sole and final adjudicator of the declared dividend and PartyBets’ decision shall be final.

16.2 If the accepted forecast bet contains a non-runner, then the bet will be void and all stakes shall be refunded.

16.3 Forecast bets are accepted as singles and in multiple bet doubles and trebles only. Any other multiple bet involving a forecast will be deemed void and all stakes shall be refunded.

17. Tricasts

17.1 Tricast bets will be settled in accordance with the officially declared tricast dividend. Where no such dividend is declared, PartyBets will be sole and final adjudicator of the declared dividend.

17.2 If the accepted tricast bet contains a non-runner, then the bet will be deemed void and all stakes shall be refunded.

17.3 Tricast bets are accepted as singles only. Any multiple bet involving a tricast will be deemed void and all stakes shall be refunded.

18. Related Outcomes

18.1 Multiple bets that combine the same selection are not accepted where the outcome of one bet affects or is affected by the other bet.
For example:
Sir Percy to win the Dante Stakes at 9.00 and
Sir Percy to win the Epsom Derby 34.00
A special price to win both races may be quoted instead. In any such event, this special price will supersede the accumulative price calculated from the individual event prices regardless of the price displayed on the PartyBets site.

18.2 PartyBets reserve the right to void any bet where the same selection is included in multiple result options.

19. Limits on Stakes and Winnings

19.1 PartyBets reserves the right to limit the maximum amount wagered for each single or multiple bet. The maximum aggregate amount that any individual client may win via the Sports Services within any seven (7) day period is USD 250,000 (net win excluding stakes) or, where your account currency is in EUR, GPB, HUF, PLN or RON at the time such maximum is reached: EUR 175,000, GBP 125,000, HUF 45,000,000, PLN 700,000 or RON 600,000 as appropriate. This maximum shall apply independently of the number of bets placed or pending or the amount wagered or pending and acceptance of your bet or wager by PartyBets does not constitute an agreement to pay out if your net win exceeds our limit on winnings (above) and it is your responsibility to be aware that you will not be paid out if your net win exceeds this limit.

20. Ante-Post

20.1 Bets are accepted on races prior to the final declaration stage if and when PartyBets decide to quote prices. Such prices/bets are known as “Ante-post”.

20.2 Once Ante-post prices are quoted for a particular race, PartyBets reserves the right to suspend accepting Ante-post bets on such a race at any point in time.

20.3 Ante-post bets are accepted on the basis of “all in run or not”, so stakes are forfeited if the selection does not take part, assuming there was a possibility of the selection taking part at the time the Ante-post bet was accepted. Stakes on Ante-post bets are refunded therefore in the following circumstances only:
A) The race is abandoned; or
B) The race is officially declared void; or
C) The conditions or venue of the race are altered, after the bet is accepted; or
D) A horse is balloted out at the final declaration stage. In this instance, PartyBets may elect to apply a “Rule 4” deduction to the remaining runners which do start the race (as per rules 14.5 and 14.6 above), dependent on the prices available on the balloted out horse(s) at the time the horse(s) are balloted out.

20.4 Ante-post bets will be settled at the price offered at the time the bet was accepted.

20.5 Ante-post bets accepted each-way will be settled at the each-way terms applicable when the bet was struck.

20.6 Forecast and tricast bets are not accepted Ante-post.

20.7 PartyBets reserves the right to void any Ante-post bet accepted in error if the final declarations are already in the public domain.
